Laboratory equipment for preparation of nanofibrous membrane with incorporated dust particles
The laboratory equipment is capable of preparing flat nanofibrous structures with simultaneous integration of dust particles within the interfibrous spaces to prevent their release. The device is based on a world unique technology for nanofibrous production using alternating current. Fixation occurs by sealing the layer with another material. The newly developed composite functionalized nanomaterials exhibit membrane-like properties, holding up to three times their weight in powder material per gram of polymeric material. This even distribution within the nanofibrous matrix enhances the accessibility of the powder material's active surface. Such uniformity is especially beneficial in applications where increased availability of active agents is crucial, including the absorption of hazardous agents.
